Invisalign - clear aligner treatment

What is Invisalign - clear aligner treatment?

It is one of the latest technologies in orthodontic treatments. Invisalign is a wire-free orthodontic treatment method applied to straighten your teeth with transparent plaques specially prepared for you in the laboratory. The most important reason why Invisalign is preferred is that it is not clear that you are undergoing orthodontic treatment while correcting the crookedness of your teeth.

Can I determine how my teeth will look at the end of the treatment?

At the end of the treatment, the patient and the physician see how the teeth will look in three-dimensional models and give production approval. In this way, you can make a special smile design for you together with your doctor. At the end of the treatment, you will not encounter an unwanted result or surprise and you will not be disappointed.

How do teeth straighten without braces?

Serial invisalign plaques are produced according to the shape your teeth want to move. Each plaque has been corrected by 0.5 mm, and when you pass this rectified plaque to your teeth, the teeth are forced to enter this plaque and the movement of the teeth is ensured, and thus the teeth move a little more with each plaque change. It is switched to another plate every 15 days.

What is the biggest advantage?

Treatment with transparent aligners is more comfortable than traditional bracing methods, there is no stinging and scar formation because there is no wire or metal part in the mouth, the treatment is more painless than traditional braces treatment. It does not have a negative effect on speech, there is no need to remove it in presentations and meetings.

How often will I have checkups?

Your controls will be every 2-3 months. Transparent plates are changed every 15 days. For example, if 20 plaques were produced for your treatment, your treatment would take 10 months. Control sessions are less than traditional treatment methods, so it is a great advantage for patients coming from abroad.
