What is porcelain laminate tooth?

It is one of the most reliable methods used in smile design. They are thin porcelains that are placed only on the visible surface of the tooth after preparations made without the need for anesthesia as a result of very light abrasions.

How is porcelain laminate made?

  • A smile design is made and the patient's approval is obtained.
  • Preparation is made from an average of 0.5-1mm tooth surface. In some cases, the tooth is not touched at all.
  • Mould is taken with digital or silicone measure.
  • Porcelain rehearsal is done.
  • After the final controls, the bonding is done.
